For that reason we recommend the paper-less direct method for beginners. However, the INDIRECT METHOD using the grid and paper can make it easier and faster to put a uniform grid of tile on a wall or floor. It is done as follows: 1) Glass mosaic tile are glued FACE-DOWN on the paper using diluted Weldbond adhesive (3 parts water to 1 part Weldbond). Use a light coat to avoid wrinkling the paper. 2) Allow the paper to dry 24 hours. 3) Apply adhesive or tile mastic to the wall. 4) Press tiles onto the glue-covered wall with the PAPER ON THE OUTSIDE. 5) Allow the tile mastic to cure for 24 hours. 6.
