The SMS Textbar application allows the users to send SMS Text messages for "chitchat" to a shortcode using mobile devices. The SMS messages is picked up and displayed in a Text Bar using a client Interface.

The SMS Text bar Application consists of a Web Admin Interface and Client Interface. In the Client Interface, a screen featuring the Text Bar in which the keyword and shortcode for sending the SMS is displayed. Once the chitchat starts, the messages are displayed in the Text Bar one after the other in a sequence.

The Admin Interface allows an administrator to approve or reject the messages send by the users for chichat, if the filter mode is set as 'manual'. The three types of Filter modes in SMS Text Bar are Automatic, Manual and None.
